Hello everyone,
I acquired in June 2015 a beautiful E39, first hand, 144000KMS, with many options. (WINE CE54841).
I had many problems since then: Explosive water pump, radiator, viscocoupler, vanos sealing, integral replacement hoses and jar DA, rocker cover gasket, AUX HS fan, failed purge in garage, steering rods + Stab, 4 disks + pads, 4 tires (LM STYLE 32 8j and 9J in origin) and 6 spark plug, bearings and sensors ABS back. All: about 4000 euros of fees ... In short, I love it so I accept. The former owner, Paris had only the minimum ....
I just applied to join the club. I am not a mechanic but a beginner amateur. My M54B30 forced me to learn and I discovered a passion unfortunately expensive. My goal: to put this pretty car in new condition or almost. I thank you for your welcome. I live in Rennes and have tools SSS, INPA, WINkfp ....
